The Association for the Propagation of the Faith (APF)

St Lawrence’s APF supporters raise funds by taking a collection box – the Red Box - and putting aside loose change throughout the year. These small amounts can combine to become a generous donation to the charity. The APF is the official charity for the overseas mission of the Catholic Church, and one of four charities operating under the Missio umbrella.

Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD)

Our parish group supports CAFOD, the official overseas development and relief agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, by raising money through twice yearly collections and regular fundraising events. They also raise awareness of CAFOD's aid and development programmes, and of the issues that make CAFOD's work so necessary.

The KSC is an international organisation of Catholic men, supporting each other and the parish and fundraising for local charities. St Lawrence’s KSC is twinned with St Christopher’s, Cranford. Meetings take place once a month, on Thursday evenings, and alternate between Feltham and Cranford parishes.

Life

Our LIFE Group raises funds and collects equipment and baby clothes for the LIFE Pregnancy Care Centre in Hounslow. The Centre offers free, immediate, confidential help and support for women facing a crisis pregnancy, infertility or struggling to cope after an abortion. Several parishioners are volunteer helpers at the Centre.
